Everything became a blur towards the end because we were booked to go away on holiday and the date was looming large. Eventually we got all the little jobs done, packed our gear, checked noseweights, lights etc, and got on the road. This last pic was a hastily snatched shot in at the Camping and Caravaning club campsite at Oban. |

I had meant to get a better shot with me and the missus in the awning but we had so much fun up there that we forgot. Heavy showers of rain later in the week confirmed that the caravan is watertight! So. Thats the end of that then. All I have to do now to the van is remove and re-seal all the trims at the rear of the van. Everything else is cosmetic....well, everything except the skylight that got ripped off by a gust of wind on the way home that is! I had intended to change it anyway as it was less than pristine. So not a big problem. I hope that this website has been helpful in some way to anyone who has the same problems that I did.

I would just like to give a big word of thanks to my younger brother Ian for all the help and support that he has given me during this project. I doubt that I would have finished in time had I not had his help. Putting in the main window at the front would have been a nightmare without him. Thanks mate! |
